The Crown Singers were founded in 2007 by a small group of singers based around Wantage. We enjoy exploring an extensive repertoire written for a few voices per part ranging from Madrigals and Partsongs from the 15th century to newly composed pieces. We perform several concerts a year, often in partnership with other local groups, as well as providing music for special church services in our local parishes, and supporting annual carol singing in West Oxfordshire villages. Our current musical director is Paul Burke.

Singers and Saxes
The Saxonian quartet join us again, playing a range of jazz and light music, whilst the Crown Singers sing madrigals, part songs and sacred music through the ages as part of Wantage Summer Festival.

- Tenors and Basses - The Crown Singers have a vacancy for a tenor and a bass, starting early in 2014. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in joining us. We invite potential new members to a rehearsal with us, followed by a short solo audition.
